There is a new bus service in town! Tauranga’s new OnDemand electric rideshare service is coming 25 March.

Baybus OnDemand is a new electric rideshare service in Tauranga South. Passengers can now book an electric minivan, seating 8 people for pick-up and drop-off connecting you within your community and to the wider Tauranga bus network. Journeys are shared if multiple people book a similar trip at a similar time.

How to Book

Booking are available by downloading the Baybus On-Demand App and setting up your account, or phone 0800 4 BAYBUS to book your van!

The service will be available 7 days a week, from 6am to 7pm. There is an option for Wheelchair Hoists upon request.
