Brought to Tauranga by Wish 4 Fish Charity, Eats ’n’ Beats is a series of family-friendly community events bringing together great food, live DJs, entertainment and activities. To kick off the summer season, tickets will be hidden around Tauranga and each one comes with a fantastic prize from a local business or community partner. Fraser Cove is getting involved, with multiple prizes up for grabs from our retailers!

It’s the perfect excuse to get the family out and about, explore different corners of Tauranga and discover some of the incredible local businesses and experiences right here in our community.

Hunt, discover and win

On Saturday 26 September, keep your eyes peeled as Eats ’n’ Beats tickets are hidden around Tauranga. Winners can claim their prizes at the Eats ‘n’ Beats community dinner at 5pm till 9pm, Friday 2nd October at Jordan Field, Memorial Park.

Eats ‘n’ Beats will have a family friendly resident DJ at their Friday community dinner, and everybody is welcome!

Fraser Cove is proud to support initiatives that bring our community together, and the Great Tauranga Treasure Hunt is all about exactly that: getting out, having fun and discovering more of what Tauranga has to offer.

Who is Wish 4 Fish?

Wish4Fish is a Tauranga-based registered charitable trust dedicated to making boating and fishing accessible to people who may otherwise face barriers to getting out on the water.

The charity provides free fishing and boating trips for people living with physical or mental disabilities, illness, health and wellbeing limitations, financial hardship, and their carers. Their purpose-built, fully accessible 18-metre vessel is designed to enable people of all abilities to experience the freedom, adventure and enjoyment of being out on New Zealand’s waters.

At the heart of Wish4Fish is the belief that these experiences offer much more than a day out fishing. Participants have the opportunity to build confidence, experience a sense of achievement and create lasting memories, while enjoying an experience that may not otherwise have been accessible to them. Wish4Fish aims to provide these “Magic Moments” to more than 1,000 beneficiaries each year, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, community partners and local businesses
